Dates must be agreed around the time of payment, and cancellations should be made 24 hours in advance.

Jane Lane Piano offers you the opportunity to follow a unique creative piano course leading to proficiency with a creative approach to your use of the instrument. Jane has a high level of experience both as a conventional piano teacher (lessons aimed towards grades) and motivational teaching. She inspires pupils to return to the piano again and again in order to explore their own musicality.

Because these sessions are customised to the individual, Jane will speak with the student to assess what they wish to gain from the lessons. Depending on the route chosen, lessons can either be focused on traditional grading, progression with no exams in mind or simply fully creative with the end goal of building confidence.

A highly experienced piano teacher, Jane is currently based in New Brighton, Wallasey. She is PGCE trained with a DBS.

I am a middle aged woman who has never played piano before. I wanted to learn so I could play and sing along to my favourite songs. Jane had her work cut out with me. After 2 courses of lessons Jane has taught me how to play ‘Adele’s someone like you. She has also started to teach me how to read music. I am so proud of myself. Thank you Jane 🙏

Sarah, you are an exceptional student with a great singing voice. You have taken so well to the practical direction we have adopted. Looking forward to hearing you play in public one day!
