Holiday Piano Activities
Holiday Piano Activities are less formal piano activities aimed at encouraging an interest in playing or improving piano skills. Some activities are designed for adults and some for children. They are a series of sessions which can be individual or in groups working towards the creation or informal playing of music and a recording in the last session.
Generally they will take place during the school holidays although this may be diofferent by arrangement, particularly for adults.
In a typical session, which includes more than one, different players will learn to play different parts of a piece of music, or will develop their own sounds jointly. The music can then be worked on, possibly as a song, mayve with other keyboard created sounds. Each session could potentially be used to created one song, or a more complex sound would take more sessions.
The recording will be the best of what the group produces.
If only one participant is involved, they could follow a similar route in the development of music, playing all the parts, or they could simply experience a relaxed introduction to piano playing.
I should point out that the sessions are flexible and open to a wide variety of activities if the interest is there.
